Indian Railways has launched a new parcel van that can run at 130 kmph speed.
The high-capacity parcel van on the Linke Hofmann Busch(LHB) platform was launched by Indian Railways in another first.

Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, designed and manufactured the new high-capacity parcel van, this is the first ever to feature a high-capacity parcel van on the LHB platform.
The Indian Railways ' new parcel van has successfully completed oscillation tests and has been issued by RDSO with speed certificate to run at 130 kmph, according to a statement by the Railway Ministry.

In order to facilitate the transportation of wide goods, these parcel van coaches have provided foldable 2-tiered baggage racks.
These coaches have three partitions that can collapse, and four sliding doors.
The coach has complete interior paneling made of stainless steel and is equipped with 140 KN air suspension.
The coach will also have 32 foldable number 2 tier baggage racks to stack small parcels efficiently.
