Trump Orders to Kill Iran Guards Commander In Baghdad

On Friday, the U.S. President gave the world more reason to believe that relations between the U.S. and Iran do not change anytime soon as the U.S. Army assassinated Qasem Soleimani, the top commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards and a U.S .- designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, adhering to the White House directives.

During the attack at the airport in Baghdad, deputy chief of Iraq's Hashed al-Shaabi group was also killed.

Qasem Soleimani wanted to target and kill a number of U.S. officials and service members in Iraq, according to the U.S. Department of Defense."General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of members of the American and coalition military and the injuring of thousands more," said the United States.

"In killing Qasem Soleimani, the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a US-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, the U.S. military has taken aggressive preventive action to protect U.S. forces overseas," the Pentagon said.

After the attack, Donald Trump tweeted a picture of the American flag.
