RRC Recruitment 2020: The recruitment cell will announce the list of selected candidates on March 30.

RRC Recruitment 2020:For a large number of posts the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) issued a notification. It has invited candidates for apprenticeship posts. The recruitment cell is looking for as many as 2,792 posts to fill. While the application process will commence from 14 February, it will continue until 13 March at 6:30 pm.
Applicants are not required to appear for any examination or interview. On March 30 the recruitment cell announces the list of selected candidates. Depending on the requirements, candidates shall be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Class 8, Class 10 and ITI.

Jamalpur workshop – 684
Howrah division – 659
Sealdah division – 526
Asansol division – 412
Kanchrapara workshop – 206
Liluah workshop – 204
Malda division – 101
Education: Applicants must have cleared Class 10 or its equivalent with marks of at least 50 per cent.
Age limit: While the candidates must have a minimum age of 15 years, a maximum age may be 24. The upper age limit for SC / ST candidates is relaxed by five years, for OBC-NCL it is relaxed by three years and for PwBD candidates it is relaxed by 10 years.
Fee: While candidates in the general category will have to pay an Rs 100 fee; SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates are not required to submit any fees.

The Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, had earlier invited applications for the apprentice post. Looking to fill 400 posts. This may be done at rcf.indianrailways.gov.in by those who wish to apply. The last filing date is February 6.
